existence. Bible translations we have found especially meaningful include the New
International Version (NIV); The New American Standard Bible (NASB), the New King

Prayers That Avail Much (Vol 1)
by Germaine CopelandThe Sword of the Spirit The Word of God
by Joy Lamb (Lamb Books, Inc. 1993)
Eternal Victim/Eternal Victor by Donnie
McClurkin
Remembering and recounting the ordeals of his early childhood, Donnie McClurkin
resurrects feelings of hurt and pain that had long been forgotten. He causes
himself to reveal the scars of healed wounds, explain how it happened, how he
endured, and how he and his family came out delivered and victorious. This truly
personal testimony by one of Gospel music's favorite artists, shares his
tremendous compassion for those who have not received healing for their hurts,
as well as those who are still in the midst of their personal struggles -
especially the children. From the moment he neglected watching
his two-year old brother, only to see him toddle into the street and be
tragically killed by a speeding car, to the extreme sexual violation of an uncle
who took advantage of his childhood innocence, to his bout with homosexuality,
McClurkin candidly recounts the steps he took to turn his life from a victim to
a victor.

and radio personality Norma Dearing shares stories from countless people who
have been set free from unhealthy relationships, unholy unions, addictions,
generational influences, and physical illnesses associated with these. The

How to Have a Right Relationship with God, and Living within a Right
Relationship with God. The book includes specific prayers for healing. Dearing

The Nearly Perfect Crime: How the Church almost killed the Ministry of Healing
by Francis MacNutt
Jesus Christ came, in part, to bring healing to the suffering people of
the world. And for the first three hundred years of Christian history, healing
prayer was fundamental in the life of the church. It even proved the main method
of converting the pagans of the day. Then, after the church emerged triumphant,
began the long slide of healing prayer into near insignificance. Ironically,
Christians themselves were the ones who almost killed this mission so central to
the gospel itself. The mystery of how this happened is described by Francis
MacNutt in this fascinating history, which includes his own personal journey.
MacNutt sees this loss as tragic and shows how necessary it is for us to
rediscover healing prayer and once more embrace it, according to Christ's
original mandate. All Christian leaders--and non-leaders, too--as well as
everyone involved in the healing ministry will want to read this book.
Will I cry tomorrow?: Healing
Post-Abortion Trauma By Susan Stanford-Rue, Ph.D.
Many of the women who abort their babies later suffer from consuming guilt and
depression. Others continue to live in denial, yet are unable to completely shut
out the feelings and memories. This book is Susan's poignant story of her
own abortion experience. She writes knowingly about God's unconditional,
forgiving love, which led to her remarkable, long-term healing. She offers
hope to women who have had abortions, and helps counselors understand their
pain. By proving that women as well as infants are the victims of abortions,
this timely, evocative book guides readers in reaching out with compassion and
insight. (book only available through Dr. Stanford-Rue's office at 904-292-0085

The
Unquenchable Worshipper: Coming Back to the Heart of Worship by Matt
Redman
"The Unquenchable Worshiper issues a
passionate call for a return to an unadulterated, first-love lifestyle of
worship. In his first book release, respected worship leader and songwriter Matt
Redman writes: "The revelation of God is the fuel for the fire of our
worship. And there is always more fuel for the fire. When we open the eyes of
our heart, God's revelation comes flying at us from so many different
angles." Open the eyes of your heart and let the gut-level message of The
Unquenchable Worshiper cause you, like martyred missionary Jim Elliot, to say,
"Saturate me with the oil of Thy Spirit, that I may be aflame. Make me Thy
fuel O flame of God."

thorough study on each of the gifts in 1 Corinthians. With numerous
illustrations the author shows that the gifts are for current day ministry just
as they were in the 1st century church.
