Bible Examples of Homosexual Behavior

1) Pathway to destruction (Romans 1:26-32): The people in Romans 1 started on the pathway to destruction by failing to thank and glorify God. From there they fell into idolatry and then into homosexual (gay & lesbian) behavior. From that point, they:

Received "due penalty" for their perversion (possibly physical illness?)
They abandoned knowledge of God
God gave them to depraved mind
They did what ought not to be done
They were filled with every kind of wickedness
They gave hearty approval of those who practiced evil

2) Sodom & Gomorrah (Genesis 19:4-13): This story illustrates the potentially violent side of homosexuality.

3) Male Prostitution (Deuteronomy 23:17-18, 1 Kings 14:24): Shrine prostitution was a common practice in the land of Canaan. Male prostitutes engaged in sexual activities with the men (and women, if allowed) who came to worship in the shrines. God abhorred the homosexual activity and prostitution, and warned the Israelites to have nothing to do with them.

4) Mob in Gibeah (Judges 19-20)
This is story is similar to the Genesis 19 story of the homosexual mob. It again shows the violent potential of homosexuality.
